Questions or Concerns About Your Cleaning
BEFORE YOUR CLEANING
Preparing for Your Service
You do not need to clean before we arrive — that’s what we’re here for!
However, picking up excessive clutter, clothing, toys, paperwork, and personal belongings allows our technicians to spend more time cleaning the surfaces underneath.
Please make sure:
-
Our team can access all areas included in your scheduled service.
-
Important access instructions are provided before your appointment.
-
Valuables, fragile items, medications, important documents, and firearms are safely secured.
-
Pets are safely managed if they may interfere with cleaning or attempt to leave the home.
-
Any special instructions or areas requiring additional attention are communicated to us in advance.
Our technicians follow the service scope and checklist associated with the service you booked.
CLEANING DAY
Arrival & Service Time
Appointment times shown on our booking calendar are used for scheduling purposes.
Got It Maid services are billed at the flat rate associated with the selected service and scope of work — not by the hour, unless an applicable overage or additional service charge has been communicated.
The actual amount of time required may vary depending on the home’s condition, size, service type, and other circumstances encountered during the appointment.
Clients do not need to remain home during their cleaning as long as our team has an approved method of entry.
STAFFING
Standard / Maintenance Cleaning appointments are typically completed by one cleaning technician.
Deep Cleaning appointments are generally completed by no more than two cleaning technicians unless otherwise discussed or scheduled by management.
Team assignments may vary based on scheduling, staffing, service needs, training, or operational circumstances. The number of technicians assigned does not change the flat-rate price of the scheduled service.
QUALITY ASSURANCE INSPECTIONS
At Got It Maid, Quality Isn’t Just Expected — It’s Checked.
Our dedicated Quality Inspector conducts inspections 3 days per week, checking approximately 8–10 homes each week to ensure our cleaning standards and service checklists are consistently being met.
Quality inspections are scheduled to take place during an active cleaning appointment, typically toward the end of the service. Because every home and cleaning is different, the exact timing of an inspection may vary.
If your home is selected, our Quality Inspector will quietly review completed areas, document the inspection with photos, and ensure the service meets Got It Maid LLC’s quality standards before leaving.
Inspections are designed to be non-disruptive and do not interfere with your cleaning technician completing their service.
Separate advance notification is not provided, as quality inspections are a routine part of our quality-assurance program.
Inspection results are reviewed by management to help us maintain consistency, identify opportunities for improvement, and continuously strengthen our service standards.
Our goal is simple: catch the little things before you ever have to.
This additional layer of oversight is part of our commitment to providing dependable, consistent cleaning — not only when someone is watching, but at every visit.
SERVICE SCOPE & EXPECTATIONS
Every Got It Maid service has a defined scope of work.
Standard / Maintenance Cleaning
Designed for homes receiving routine upkeep. Services generally include cleaning bathrooms, kitchen surfaces, bedrooms and common areas, dusting, floors, and general tidying according to our Standard Cleaning Checklist.
Detailed work such as full baseboard cleaning, extensive wall cleaning, interior windows, and other deep-cleaning tasks are not guaranteed as part of a Standard Cleaning unless specifically included.
Deep Cleaning
Our Deep Cleaning service provides additional detailed attention throughout the home and may include high dusting, cobweb removal, baseboards, spot cleaning walls, interior windows and tracks, cabinet fronts, exterior appliance cleaning, inside the microwave, and other detailed areas included on our Deep Cleaning Checklist.
For safety and liability purposes, beds and heavy furniture are not moved.
Move-In / Move-Out Cleaning
Move-In/Move-Out services are designed for vacant or transitioning properties and follow the scope selected when booking.
Additional services such as interior appliances, blinds, basements, carpet shampooing, stairs, or other specialty work may require an add-on.
SERVICE TIME & FLAT-RATE PRICING
Got It Maid LLC services are billed at a flat rate based on the selected service, home size, and included scope of work — not by the amount of time spent in the home. Any service duration shown during online booking is used for scheduling purposes only and does not guarantee or determine the exact length of your cleaning. If your cleaning is completed in less time than the scheduled booking duration, the full flat rate still applies. Our pricing reflects the service and scope of work being completed rather than an hourly rate. If additional time is required due to the condition of the home, excessive buildup, clutter, additional requested tasks, or work outside the normal scope of the selected service, additional charges may apply.
Additional time is currently billed at:
Standard / Maintenance Cleaning: $35 per additional hour after 2 hours
Deep Cleaning: $65 per additional hour after 3 hours
If our team encounters conditions that may require additional time or charges, management will communicate with the client before proceeding whenever reasonably possible.
No in-home walkthrough is required to book a residential cleaning service.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES & REQUESTS
Need something beyond your regularly scheduled cleaning? Depending on availability, additional services may be added to an appointment.
Available add-ons may include services such as:
-
Oven cleaning

Refrigerator cleaning
-
Detailed Blind cleaning ($18 per blind)
-
Basement cleaning
-
Dishes
-

ADDITIONAL AREAS & FEES
Certain areas or conditions require additional time and are not automatically included in the base service price.
Additional Bathrooms
Homes with more than three bathrooms may be subject to an additional $25 charge.
Excessive Pet Shedding
Homes with excessive pet hair or shedding that requires additional cleaning time may be subject to an additional $20 charge.
Basements, Attics & Third Floors/Laundry Rooms
These areas must be included when scheduling if cleaning is requested.

Deep Cleaning: +$100
Pricing may vary when the size, condition, or requested scope of these areas requires significantly more work than normally expected.
Blind Cleaning
Light dusting of accessible blinds may be included within the appropriate cleaning scope. Detailed blind cleaning is a separate add-on service and must be requested or selected separately.
Requests Outside the Scheduled Scope
Each cleaning service includes a defined scope of work. Tasks or areas requested outside the originally scheduled service are not automatically included and may result in additional charges.
Whenever possible, additional services should be requested before the appointment so adequate time, staffing, supplies, and equipment can be arranged.
CARPET SHAMPOOING
Clients are responsible for removing personal belongings and smaller items from carpeted areas before carpet shampooing begins.
Lightweight furniture may be moved when reasonably possible. Beds, dressers, sectionals, and other heavy furniture are not routinely moved as part of carpet shampooing service.
Carpets with excessive staining, pet accidents, strong odors, wine or other difficult stains, or conditions requiring specialty treatment may require additional products, treatment, or service time and may result in additional charges.
Carpet shampooing pricing may vary based on the size, number, and condition of the areas being serviced.
PETS IN THE HOME
We love our furry clients too! 🐾
Pets may remain in the home during service when they are comfortable and safe around our technicians.
However, clients are responsible for securing pets that may:
-
Become aggressive, anxious, or territorial
-
Attempt to escape through an exterior door
-
Interfere with the technician’s ability to safely clean
-
Create an unsafe working environment
Our team may skip an area if a pet prevents safe access.
HEALTH & SAFETY
The health and safety of our clients and employees are extremely important.

ADDITIONAL BALANCES

All applicable payment and late-payment policies remain in effect for additional balances.
CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING
We understand that schedules change.
Because your appointment reserves time specifically for your home and affects our employees’ scheduled working hours, we ask that changes be communicated as early as possible.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled service are subject to a 35% cancellation fee.
Recurring clients should contact us as soon as possible when an appointment needs to be changed so we can determine whether another opening is available.
Rescheduling is subject to availability.
RECURRING CLEANING CLIENTS
Recurring service allows us to maintain your home on a consistent schedule.
As the condition of a home can change between appointments, additional time or services may occasionally be necessary when the amount of work falls significantly outside the normal maintenance scope.
If you would like additional areas or tasks completed during an upcoming appointment, please contact us beforehand so we can determine whether they can be accommodated.
Recurring appointments may also be affected by holidays, staffing, weather, or other unavoidable scheduling circumstances. Management will communicate necessary scheduling changes when applicable.
PREPAID, DISCOUNTED & PROMOTIONAL SERVICES
Prepaid, discounted, promotional, or packaged cleaning services include the standard scope of work and included service time associated with the selected service.
Discounted or prepaid pricing does not provide unlimited service time or automatically include tasks outside the normal service scope.
Additional time, specialty services, add-ons, or work outside the included scope may be billed separately when applicable.
Any additional terms provided at the time a package or promotion is purchased also remain applicable.
PHOTOS & QUALITY DOCUMENTATION
Got It Maid LLC uses internal documentation as part of our quality-assurance and operational processes.
Photos may be taken of cleaning results, areas requiring attention, supply or equipment concerns, damage concerns, or other service-related conditions when necessary for internal documentation.
Quality-inspection photos and reports allow management to review services, maintain accountability, coach our team, and continually improve our standards.
Client privacy remains important to us. Internal quality documentation is used for legitimate business and service-management purposes.
DAMAGE OR BREAKAGE
While our technicians take great care while working inside your home, accidents can occasionally happen.
If our team becomes aware of damage or breakage during a service, it will be documented and reported to management.
If you notice a concern following your appointment, please contact Got It Maid LLC as soon as possible with details and photos when available so management can review the situation.
Please do not attempt to resolve damage, performance, disciplinary, or employment matters directly with an individual cleaning technician.
QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS ABOUT YOUR CLEANING
We want to hear from you.
If something about your service does not meet your expectations, please contact Got It Maid LLC management directly.
Our technicians and Quality Inspector are responsible for completing their assigned duties inside the home. Employee coaching, corrections, performance discussions, and other internal matters are handled privately by management — not inside client homes.
This allows us to address concerns professionally while keeping your cleaning experience comfortable and non-disruptive.
WE’RE HERE TO HELP
Our goal is to make professional home cleaning as simple, dependable, and stress-free as possible.
If you have a question about your cleaning, schedule, invoice, service scope, or account, please reach out to our office and our management team will be happy to assist you.
